Thank you for your interest the Traverse City Track Club's Volunteer Program, our newest club initiative. With so many events and programs throughout the year, we will be regularly adding new volunteer opportunities, so check back often! To help fulfill our mission to promote healthy activity through running and walking events and programs, it is essential to have active participation from citizens in the community. Whether you're a teen, adult, or senior volunteer, you can make a difference!
Upcoming Volunteering Opportunities
Summer Series - June 17th - August 19th (Wednesday nights )
TCTC Summer Series is powered by volunteers who help keep the races fun, welcoming, and well-organized each week. We're looking for volunteers to assist with simple race setup, participant check-in, timing, and finish-line support. It's an easy way to give back to the local running community, meet fellow runners, and help make Northern Michigan's longest-running race series a success.
Loop The Lake - September 4th (Afternoon Event)
Loop the Lake couldn't happen without our volunteers! We're looking for course marshals, aid station volunteers, packet pickup assistants, finish line helpers, and setup/teardown crews. Volunteers receive a commemorative wicking hat, finish-line snacks, and the opportunity to help make one of Traverse City's favorite community races a success. Join us on September 4 and be part of the team behind the event!
Farmland 5K & 10K - October 10th
Farmland 5K & 10K is made possible by an amazing team of volunteers. We're currently looking for course marshals, registration assistants, food and beverage servers, awards helpers, and other race-day support roles. Volunteers receive a race giveaway item, post-race refreshments, and a front-row seat to one of Northern Michigan's favorite fall traditions at Rasho Farm. Join us on October 10 and help make race day a success!
Zombie Run - October 31st
Zombie Run depends on a large team of volunteers to bring the spooky fun to life! We're especially looking for course marshals, along with volunteers for parking, packet pickup, the food tent, photography, bike lead and SAG support, and other race-day tasks. Volunteers receive a race giveaway item, post-race refreshments, and the chance to be part of one of Traverse City's most unique and festive running events. Join us and help make Zombie Run a frightfully good time!
Bayshore Marathon - May 29th, 2027
Bayshore Marathon
We’d love to have you join us to cheer on more than 7,000 incredible runners. We could also use your help to keep race weekend running smoothly. Stay tuned for 2027 individual positions.
