Distance runner Carrie Tollefson has been announced as the guest speaker at the Traverse City Track Club’s 2019 Speaker’s Series which has featured many of running history’s most accomplished runners and personalities, including Des Linden, 2018 Boston Marathon champion and famed 70’s runner Bill Rogers, a 4-time winner of the Boston event.

Each year the Traverse City Track Club presents the Speaker’s Series at its Annual Awards in January which recognizes its members and club accomplishments from the previous year. All members of the public are invited to this event which is free of charge.

This year’s event is held at Traverse City’s Park Place Conference Center on Saturday, January 19 at 7:00 p.m., and features a complimentary dessert table and a cash bar.
