The 19th annual Running Bear Run returns on Tuesday July 28, 2026. The professional chip-timed race is held rain or shine starting at Cherry Republic on Lake Street in Glen Arbor. Start times are 9 AM for the 5K Run/Walk with the 1/2 Mile Kid’s Run starting at 9:05 a.m. $30 prior to race day; $35 on race day. Kids’ Run $5. Online registrations will close Sunday,
July 26, 2026 at midnight. In person registration Monday, July 27, 2026 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Glen Arbor Township Hall and on Race day 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. at race start point on Lake Street, Glen Arbor.
The race is sponsored by the Glen Arbor Women’s Club and 90% of the proceeds from our race provide scholarships for Glen Lake High School seniors, with the remainder going toward other community charitable organizations.
