Why do you run? The health and social benefits are extremely rewarding not to mention that it is just a lot of fun.

2015 - second in age division at the Smoky Mt. Black Bear Double ( 5k & half marathon).

Favorite races: Crim 10 mile, Grand Rapids 10 Mile Bridge Run, Bay shore 1/2 Marathon

Favorite race distance: Half Marathon

Favorite pre-race meal: Endrox R4 fruit smoothie and a Clif Bar

Goals for 2019: Stay healthy as I move into a new age division and continue to chase Duane.

Favorite running quote: “As long as we get the best out of ourselves we winners”

Best running advice given to me: Run your own race not someone else’s race.

Dumbest running moment? Went the wrong way in a trail race and ran the 5k loop
When I signed up for the 10k loop

What other interests do you have outside of running? Anything outdoors as well as cooking.

How do you feel about representing the TCTC by being a TCTC Race Team Member? I always exhibit good sportsmanship and enjoy promoting our sport in a positive manner. Being a race team member gives me a great platform to
hopefully motivate and inspire others, especially the younger runners.
